Twisted50 Updates… Dates for Awards

We are busy reading, reviewing, tweaking and getting the stories ready for judging.

We do have to move some dates though. The team all coming down with Covid AND the staggering venue costs in October / November / December means that I have decided to move the launch dates and process.

Here’s the plan.

We will announce the 50 selected writers on December 3rd.

We will launch the book on Amazon on December 10th, giving time for Christmas gifts to be bought and sent.

We will also co-ordinate a BUY NOW ‘time’ on December 10th so that we can all buy the book at the same time and push the book to number one in Horror on Amazon. This is just a bonus and GREAT PR for the 50 writers in the book. More on that soon.

The Awards will take place on January 21st, though this is still in the works. We may be able to move to a Saturday in January, so it’s not fixed yet. We are negotiating with several venues and you will know the moment I know. The awards will be open to anyone and you can bring all your friends and family for a fiendishly exciting night out!

    Should we find ourselves amongst the winners, will we have a final opportunity to make any edits? I’ve made the mistake of reading my Final Drafts only to find typos I had completely overlooked on submission.

      Please email me your tweaked draft and I will update it in on the site. We will have people doing a pass BUT we have no budget for proof reading, like the entire enterprise, its fuelled by goodwill.
