Susan Vermeer
Dutch screenwriter, certified story warrior, world cyclist, quiz maker.
I am a Dutch Screenwriter. I enjoy real-life outdoor adventures but in the stories I consume and write, I take it up a notch: I venture into imaginary worlds and extreme emotions I wouldn’t want to experience in real life. Crime, action adventure, sci-fi and horror are my favourite genres. I’ve been creating fictional adventures for quite a few years now and can’t do without it anymore.
At the moment I’m squeezing as much writing time as possible in between my paid work both as a freelance text editor for TV quiz shows and as a teleprompter operator. When circumstances take my writing time away, I get very moody. But let’s be honest: frustration is a great source for stories.
