Took an interest in writing some years ago, curious to see if I had anything to say and also curious about how films do what they do to me and their audiences and how they do what they do. How they work. Have been to London Screenwriters Festival numerous times, have taken up other writing courses usually through LSF and Chris Jones and Bob Schultz including recently AI, being curious about it and wanting to learn what it is and isn’t. 

Up until a few years ago I was working full time so time for writing was limited and that’s eased off a little but I’m strictly a hobby writer who has written shorts, poetry, plays, short prose pieces and in the meantime is still studying writing as it seems to change and evolve over time. I have a good working knowledge of structure and the mechanics of movies short or long which is fascinating. I’m a fairly avid movie goer, picking and choosing movies as they turn up at my local independent cinema. It may be biopics but also movies directed or starring certain directors, actors, often it’s the subject matter that interests me. I walk, cycle, read, watch TV for films and also good, interesting and stimulating non fiction stuff and documentaries.
