Lee Bailes
LEE BAILES is a UK expat living in Sweden. A former film critic, an award-winning short film screenwriter and filmmaker by night and instructional design consultant by day, he is mostly drawn to the dark horror, fantasy, Sci Fi and action genres.
He recently contributed to the WE ARE GREGOR collection in aid of disability rights and to raise money for the Special Olympics, writing about his battle with Shingles and Chronic pain. His story SANITY ASSASSIN will be included in the WHITE ON WHITE: A LITERARY TRIBUTE TO BAUHAUS. His novella DARKLING SPORES will be included in the HAND OF DOOM: A LITERARY TRIBUTE TO BLACK SABBATH. And he was also published in the THEY WHISPERED anthology of short horror stories, by Comma Press earlier this year.
Lee had given up writing prose twelve years ago, after some damning feedback from a well-known editor and publisher. But is very much enjoying writing fiction again and editing a collection of short horror stories intended for release next year.

How Competing in Twisted50 Helped Me Break Through Writer’s Block and Self-Doubt
I’m a massive horror fan. Most of the fiction I read or the films and shows I watch are horror. Anything I write usually ends up with bad stuff happening to bad people and typically falls into that genre. So, you might be surprised to know that I initially wasn’t going to get involved in the Twisted50 Volume III competition.
