A woman with long black hair smiling for the camera.

Dawn Murphy // Voice Artist

Featured in the audiobook of Twisted50

Dawn is an actress and voice artist who trained at Drama Centre London. During her training, she was selected to represent her Drama School in the BBC’s Carleton Hobbs Radio Award Competition.

She has recorded many audiobooks for companies including Audible, Dreamscape, RNIB and Simon and Schuster. Dawn is the IVR voice of Aviva and Royal Carribbean. Her other voice work includes educational and medical voiceovers, many corporate videos, TV promos and online ads.

She also had the pleasure of playing Cordelia Crozier in the audio drama: ‘Doctor Who: Antidote to Oblivion.’

Dawn was something of a scaredy-cat growing up and is really not much better now. Not surprising really with an older brother found her over active imagination hilarious/ridiculous and used to whisper things like ‘there’s someone in your hooouusse’ through her bedroom door.

Despite appearing in the horror film ‘The Devil’s Punchbowl’ and taking part in the 24 hour Horror Film Challenge, she still does her best to avoid watching horror films!
